Submissions

Conditions for submission

As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify the compliance of the submission against all items listed below. Submissions that do not conform to the standards will be returned to the authors. At least one of the authors, preferably, must hold a PhD degree.
The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not under evaluation for publication by another journal; otherwise, you should justify it in "Comments to editor".
The work has not been published or presented, even partially, in events, congresses or other media. If so, justify this in a communication to the editors of the journal.
The submission file is in Microsoft Word format, preferably using the Scientific-Technical Article Template available here, and complies with the journal's Editorial Guidelines.
E-mail addresses for the references were given when possible.

The text

is double-spaced;
uses a 12-point font size;
employs italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses);
the figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of appendices;
used the Scientific-Technical Article Templateavailable here.
The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the Guidelines for Authors, the Model technical-scientific article available Editorial Guidelines.
The authorship identification was informed in the manuscript, according to the template or the article template available here was used. The authorship identification was removed in the Properties option in Word, and the editorial team will ensure the confidentiality of the blind peer review, by removing the information before forwarding to the reviewers.

Guidelines for Authors

General Rules
Global Sustainable Action Journal accepts unpublished contributions produced by professionals in all areas of knowledge. These publications need not have been published before, or disseminated in other virtual spaces that have the purpose of disseminating scientific work.

Title and subtitle (if any)

Maximum of 15 words;
in bold;
1st letter capitalized;
must be clear and objective, showing the main result of the work.

Author

Inform at the beginning of the article
name in full, left aligned, in alphabetical order

Summary

Minimum of 150 words and maximum of 250 words;
It should present problem, solution, and conclusions;
Should not contain citations with references
It should have a sequence of concise, objective sentences, containing:

Background

one or two sentences that identify where your work falls within the broad area;

Gap

sentence about what is still to be worked on, what needs research, what is still not understood, what still needs to be studied in this field of research;

Purpose

The main objective of the work, what was done. It has to have a connection to the gap;

Methodology

one or two sentences discussing the methodology used;

Results

identifies the main results of the research;

Conclusions

how the result can contribute to the advancement of the large area in relation to your research area.

Palavras-chave/Keywords/Palabras clave

minimum of 3 and maximum of 5;
essentially relevant and taken from the text;

separated by a period and put a period.

Introduction

justifies and defines the problem, announcing the subject;
summarizes the subject and its importance, presenting the general idea;
briefly discusses the work's approach, delimiting the theme, closing with the presentation of hypotheses and objectives;
should not be extensive and serves to familiarize the reader with the subject:

Background

area where your work is inserted and what the importance of the large area is. Here you define terms, jargon, etc.);

Gap

which issues are open, which limitations still exist and need to be improved;

State of the art

the latest in the area of research in question;

Purpose

what are the objectives of the work and the study.

Material and Methods

It describes the details of the research design and how the study was conducted. In preparing this section one should:
describe with precision and accuracy the methods, materials, techniques, and equipment used;
provide information on statistical methods used and data transformations, if applicable;
refer to techniques and methods already known;
avoid hypotheses and generalizations when they are not based on the elements contained in the work.

Results and Discussion

The results obtained must be presented accurately and clearly;
may be accompanied by tables, graphs, charts, or figures with statistical values;
The experimental data obtained can be analyzed and related to the main problems that exist on the subject, giving subsidies for the conclusion;
the discussion must relate cause and effect;
indicate the applications and theoretical limitations of the results obtained;
to present new perspectives for further research;
to present proposals or suggestions for new research in certain areas;

Conclusions

synthesize arguments that confirm or deny hypotheses;
emphasize the main result;
elaborate a brief interpretation of the main results;
show the importance of these results for the large area of work.

Appendices

texts or documents prepared by the author in order to complement his argumentation;
should be identified by consecutive capital letters (APPENDIX A; APPENDIX B), following the pagination of the main text and separated from the text by an additional sheet, with an indication of its beginning.

Illustrations

(ABNT NBR 14724)
include: drawings, schematics, flow charts, photographs, graphs, maps, organizational charts, blueprints, pictures, portraits, and others;
illustrations should provide enough information so that the reader can understand them without the need for a significant contribution from the text; words used in the figures should be identical to those used in the text in terms of capitalization, italics and symbols;
should be presented in the order in which they appear in the text. In case they are extensive, send them in separate files, indicating where they should be inserted in the text; in illustrations containing more than one image, identify each image with capital letters, for example A, B, C (without parentheses and without dots after the letters) in the upper left corner of each image;
place the identification at the top of the illustration, preceded by the word figure, graph, table etc., numbered sequentially with Arabic numerals, followed by a dash and the respective title.

In the text, use lower case to refer to figures and tables. See Module Grammar Rules, Section 5.1 Internal Rules of the Publishing Coordination (COED).

Legend

brief and objective;
with notes and other information necessary for its understanding;
the source consulted is indicated at the bottom, after the illustration;
the source is a mandatory element even if it is the author's own production;
sources should be listed in the References section.
Observations:
the quality of the figures is as important as the quality of the data and results presented. Simplicity is recommended throughout the interpretations; check if figures are necessary and if it is possible to put the information in text form;
There must be a balance between the information in the text and in the captions so that they are not repetitive.

Tables

should be self-explanatory;
locate it as close as possible to the point where it is first mentioned in the text;
title at the top preceded by the word Table (1st letter in capitals), numbered in sequence with Arabic numerals, followed by a hyphen (Table 1 -) and the title of the table; preferably in vertical position;
Continuation on the following page: do not delimit by a horizontal line at the bottom, repeat the heading on the following page, indicate continuation on the first page, continuation for the others and conclusion on the last page; put information about the source(s) consulted and other information and notes necessary for understanding, in the footnotes. The source(s) must be included in the References section;
use horizontal wires at the base of the table to separate the content from complementary elements, to separate the heading from the title, and from the body. Additional horizontal lines can be used within the header and body. Do not use vertical lines;
edit in a Word file, using the table menu features;

Acknowledgements of assistance received for the preparation of the paper are mentioned at the end of the article, after the References section.

References and Citations

when selecting the papers to be cited in the article choose:
pioneering studies that started the study of the subject;
most recent studies (state of the art of the subject to be studied);
impact studies published in the field, in recognized journals and publishers.
quotations show where the ideas came from, not the texts. They must be interpreted and written in your own words. Observe copyright issues (plagiarism and self-plagiarism).

Articles

Specific section for original and unpublished literature reviews.
The main authorship of the papers should, preferably, be by researchers with at least a doctoral degree.

Copyright Statement

The publication reserves the right to make normative, orthographic, and grammatical alterations to the originals, with the aim of maintaining the cultured standard of the language, respecting, however, the authors' style;
Final proofs will not be sent to the authors;
The originals will not be returned to the authors;
The authors retain full rights over their papers published in Global Sustainable Action Magazine, and their total or partial reprint, deposit or republication is subject to the indication of first publication in the magazine;
The original source of publication must be given;
The opinions expressed by the authors of the articles are their sole responsibility.

Peer Review Process

  • The originals will be submitted to the approval of recognized specialists in the subjects treated. The papers will be sent for evaluation without the identification of authorship, (registered in the electronic publishing system of the journal) to guarantee the process of blind peer review.
  • The originals will be sent to the evaluators, all with the minimum degree of Doctor or recognized notorious knowledge, in the shortest possible time. The article selection process involves the evaluation of ad hoc specialists and the Editorial Committee, which will select the titles to be published. In the table of contents, the sequence of articles will obey the alphabetical order of the authors' last names, if an order has not been defined by the Editor responsible for the issue.
  • Exceptionally, papers that have already been published in foreign journals will be accepted. In this case, they will be subject to the same evaluation as unpublished papers. The author must present written authorization from the editor of the journal in which the text was originally published, accompanied by a copy of the article.
  • Author: Individual responsible for creating the intellectual or artistic content of a document. Not to be confused with collaborators.
    • For articles with multiple authorship, it is necessary to inform the order of presentation of the authors and a declaration of each author author authorizing the publication;
    • Minimum degree of the main author, preferably a PhD.
  • Originals will be published in the original language of submission, with preference given to papers in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Submissions in other languages may not be processed.
    • All papers will have their titles, abstracts and keywords translated into Portuguese, English and Spanish.
  • The journal reserves the right to make normative, orthographic, and grammatical changes in the originals, with the aim of maintaining the cultured standard of language, respecting the author's style. Final proofs will not be returned to the authors.
  • The published papers become property of the Revista Ação Sustentável Global, and their total or partial reprinting is subject to the express authorization of the direction of ICT Sustentável Global. The original source of publication must be consigned. The originals will not be returned to the authors.
  • There are no submission, evaluation, or editing fees.
    The author will receive information about the publication of the journal as soon as the issue is available.
    The opinions expressed in the articles are the sole responsibility of their authors. The journal will rank the evaluated submissions according to the following sections:

    Articles

    the section encompasses texts containing unpublished full reports of completed studies or research and similar collaborations.

    Opinion paper

    The section encompasses texts containing unpublished, opinionated articles.

    Experience Reports

    comprises communications and descriptions of activities performed by information systems, services or units.

    Literature Reviews

    It comprises critical reviews of books, recently published journals, dissertations, and theses.

    Periodicity

    Global Sustainable Action Magazine is a biannual publication, producing two issues per year, grouped into separate issues and individualized volumes. The issues will always be published from January to June and July to December.

    Open Access Policy

    This Journal has immediate free access to its contents, making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge, providing greater global democratization of knowledge, through the internet.
    There are no subscription, submission, evaluation, editing or publication fees.

    Privacy Statement

    The names and addresses informed in this journal will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication, and will not be made available for other purposes or to third parties.
